90210G
24 Tracks. 12 Years. One Story.
90210G is a collection of memories, experiences, victories, losses, friendships, and lessons gathered over more than a decade by the hearts and minds of The Clique.
From the hills of Beverly Hills and Malibu to the streets of South Central Los Angeles, this project documents a journey that few people will ever fully understand. Summit Circle, the unofficial headquarters of LA Clique, served as the backdrop for many of these moments, along with countless nights spent throughout Malibu, PCH, the Doheny Estates, Israel, Dubai, and some of our favorite local spots including Dantanna’s, Rocket Fizz, Le Petit, Poppy, and a few locations that will remain undisclosed.
This is the first official full-length release from Chello The Pizza Man.
While speaking with Dejaun Paul of Day In LA and Rap Report Card, Chello described the project as:
“This 24-track freshman project is really just a part of my story in music format.”
The number 24 was chosen as a tribute to Kobe Bryant, whose mentality, determination, and relentless pursuit of greatness continue to inspire millions around the world.
But 90210G is more than music.
It’s the story of growing up between two completely different worlds.
One world was Beverly Hills, where classmates went home to luxury estates and dream lifestyles.
The other was South Central Los Angeles, where survival often came before comfort.
There were mornings when my mother would stop at a gas station and ask strangers for a few dollars just so we could make it to school. We were late almost every day. After school, while many of my friends headed home to their mansions, I began a long commute back to Figueroa Street.
Wilshire.
Vermont.
Century.
Figueroa.
Then a walk home after dark.
At a time when violence, gang conflicts, and uncertainty surrounded many neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles, those experiences shaped me in ways I am still learning to understand today.
I’ve never claimed a gang, but growing up in that environment affected me deeply. It taught me lessons about loyalty, pain, ambition, survival, and perspective.
That’s why I often say I have a love-hate relationship with Los Angeles.
This city gave me opportunities that changed my life.
It also showed me realities that most people never have to witness.
90210G is the soundtrack to that journey.
The highs.
The lows.
The celebrations.
The losses.
The dreams.
The mistakes.
Most importantly, it’s proof that your circumstances don’t have to determine your destination.
